November 6, 2007Another Subway rip-off
Once again Subway has attempted to rip me off. Earlier this evening I ordered
myself an Italian BMT. As every Subway worker knows, this sandwich has 3 pieces of Pepperoni, 3 peices of Salami, and 2 pieces of ham. Guess how many pieces of ham the sandwich artist put on my sub? That's right: ZERO!!!!! I'm so sick of this ridiculousnous.
Like I said before: how many times have they "accidentally" tried to put EXTRA meat on my sub? That's right: ZERO. Zero point freaking zero.
Incidentally, here's a little piece of trivia only a huge Subway fan like myself would know: the BMT in "Italian BMT" stands for Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit. It harks back to the days when Subway used to name all their sandwiches after New Youk City subway stations. I was surprised to learn this fact recently (from wikipedia, so you know it's true), because everyone claims BMT stands for "Biggest, Meatiest, Tastiest." I've also noticed it's also a registered trademark. I guess they have to protect that valuable intellectual property. Anyway, yeah. No ham. Zero slices. I asked her to add them, of course, so no harm done. But still, a person definitely has to pay attention at Subway.
